应用：
苯扎氯铵是一种杀菌灭藻剂，广泛应用于工厂循环冷却水、发电厂、造纸厂、油田注水系统以及医疗设备的消毒。它也可用于游泳池、洗衣房、公共场所的卫生消毒和洗涤，以及食品工业的设备清洁。BKC可以与其他杀菌剂，如异噻唑啉酮、戊二醛、二硫氰基甲烷等，产生协同作用。但它不能与氯酚类药物一起使用。它也是丙烯酸纤维阳离子染色的匀染剂。
